Dynamic Propeller Balancing
On-aircraft dynamic propeller balancing that cuts vibration to protect the engine, airframe, and avionics — and makes the airplane noticeably smoother to fly.
Overview
Even a well-maintained propeller can carry enough imbalance to buzz through the whole airframe, loosen fasteners, crack fairings, and wear engine accessories and instruments before their time. Using a calibrated analyzer and an accelerometer mounted on the engine, the shop measures the vibration in real time and adds precise balance weights until it is driven down to a smooth target. You get a measurably smoother airplane, a quieter cabin, and longer life from the engine, mounts, and avionics — with the before-and-after readings recorded in your logbook.
Scope of work
- On-aircraft dynamic balancing
