Cirrus maintenance, done the owner’s way

Mach Aircraft Maintenance keeps Cirrus piston singles flying across DFW and North Texas. We are an independent A&P shop that knows the SR20, SR22, and SR22T inside and out — annuals, Continental engine work, magnetos, Hartzell props, and brakes — with honest squawk lists and up-front pricing on every job.

Independent — and upfront about it

Mach is not a Cirrus Authorized Service Center, and we will never pretend otherwise. What we are is an independent shop staffed by FAA-certificated A&P mechanics who know these airframes well. Under 14 CFR Part 43, your Cirrus does not need an authorized center for its annuals, engine and magneto work, prop service, or routine maintenance — it needs a careful A&P who does it right. That is where an independent shop saves Cirrus owners real money once the aircraft is out of warranty.

What we do for Cirrus owners

Real Cirrus experience, not a checklist read cold

Cirrus annual inspections

Full annuals worked to the Cirrus AMM checklist for the SR20, SR22, and SR22T — Avidyne and Perspective/Perspective+ airframes — with AD and Service Bulletin research, a photographed squawk list, and pricing before any corrective work.

Continental engine work

Service and troubleshooting for the IO-360 (SR20) and IO-550-N / turbocharged TSIO-550-K (SR22 / SR22T) — oil and filter analysis, cylinder compression and borescope, induction, exhaust, and baffling.

Magnetos & ignition

500-hour magneto inspection and IRAN, timing, harness and plug service — the recurring ignition work Cirrus owners come due for, done by the book.

Propeller service

Hartzell constant-speed prop removal, reinstall, AD/SB compliance, and dynamic propeller balancing to cut vibration and protect the engine and airframe.

Brakes, tires & gear

Cirrus brakes run hot and wear — pads, discs, O-rings, tires, and wheel and gear-leg service to keep rollout and taxi safe.

CAPS interval tracking

We track your CAPS 10-year parachute rocket and line-cutter due dates and coordinate the service so you stay legal and safe — while we handle the airframe and engine maintenance around it.

Why Cirrus owners choose Mach

We are not tied to selling you a new airplane, so the advice you get is about keeping the one you have safe and airworthy. You get a photographed squawk list, a straight estimate before any work starts, and a clean, complete logbook entry when it is signed off.

Mobile or hangar-based from our Aero Country (T31) shop, with turnarounds that respect your time and a 24/7 AOG line if your Cirrus is ever stuck on a ramp.

Shopping for a Cirrus? Have us in your corner before you sign. An independent pre-buy is the one inspection you commission for yourself — a full logbook and records audit, AD and Service Bulletin research, an airframe and engine evaluation, a compression and borescope of the Continental, and a read on where the CAPS clock stands. You come away with a candid written report, photos, and a realistic cost-to-cure on every finding, so you sign with confidence — knowing exactly what you are buying and what it will cost to keep flying. Considering an SR20, SR22, or SR22T? Send the tail number and we'll set up the pre-buy.

Cirrus owner questions

Are you a Cirrus Authorized Service Center?

No — Mach is an independent A&P maintenance shop, not a Cirrus Authorized Service Center. You do not need an authorized center for most Cirrus maintenance: under 14 CFR Part 43, any certificated A&P can inspect, maintain, and return a Cirrus to service. Authorization mainly matters for new-aircraft warranty claims and certain factory programs. For annuals, engine work, magnetos, props, and the day-to-day care of an out-of-warranty SR, we have deep hands-on Cirrus experience and give you honest, owner-first service.

Can you do the annual on my Cirrus SR22?

Yes. We work the Cirrus annual to the manufacturer checklist, research applicable ADs and Service Bulletins, and hand you a photographed, itemized squawk list with pricing before anything is repaired — so there are no surprise invoices.

Do you handle the CAPS parachute repack?

We track your CAPS 10-year reefing line-cutter and rocket replacement due dates and coordinate the service so it is scheduled and documented correctly, and we take care of all the surrounding airframe and engine maintenance. The parachute and rocket replacement itself is a specialized task performed to Cirrus’s requirements — we make sure it happens on time and that your aircraft is right around it.

Which Cirrus models do you work on?

The piston Cirrus line — SR20, SR22, and the turbocharged SR22T — across Avidyne, Perspective, and Perspective+ panels. Whether your engine is the IO-360, IO-550-N, or TSIO-550-K, we service it.

Where are you located and do you offer mobile service?

We are based at Aero Country Airport (T31) in McKinney and serve Cirrus owners across DFW and North Texas — McKinney, Frisco, Allen, Plano, Prosper, Denton, Sherman, and Greenville. Routine squawks and AOG troubleshooting can be handled mobile at your hangar, or bring the aircraft to our shop.
